Il-Khan - Arg-e Bam
The Arg-e Bam with more than 2500 years history was the largest adobe building in the world, located in Bam, a city in Kerman Province of southeastern Iran. This monument is made of clay and bricks and it is the greatest adobe palace (arg) in the world, which is the most magnificent architectural work of Parthia's era. This monument, which constructed in the shape of the castle on top of the hills with the high of 61 meters, has an everlasting glory. This Arg included fences, barbicans, many gates, mosques, bazaar, caravan-serai, school, bathrooms, gymnasium, residential places, governor places, barracks, stalls, mill, the house of commander and many other parts.
Carpet (Rug):
Because Arg e Bam, was related to the different historical era in Iran, in this painting, we inspired by Ilkhani geometrical shapes in its carpet designs which contains shape, form, and pattern of gardens which had a great influence on Iranian rug designs.
