Qajar - Louvre of Burujerdis house in Kashan

Louvers are one of the elements of Iranian architectural style, which considered as an indigenous innovation. This element of the climate approach was invented as a static cooling system and an air conditioning system that benefited from the renewable wind energy. These louvers with different and unique shapes were constructed in central and southern cities of Iran. Burujerdis house contains three louvers one for entrances and the other two for hall and alcove.
Louvers mechanism is like this that it gives the favorable wind and leads it to the master rooms of the house, cistern, or basement. The entrance of louvers most of the times were undergrounds in order to take benefit from its coldness and desirable condition. In the louvers, wind passes from some damp places and it loses its warmth to evaporate water in this regard more pleasant weather obtained from that wind.

Carpet (Rug):

In Qajar era, the tendency to landscaping, nature, and phenomenon under the title of "depiction on carpet design" has become important that its importance was Unprecedented in previous eras. Carpet and rugs of those years are one of the best and finest artworks of Iran and it was the best garden visualization in the sense that its shapes became the symbol of heaven which contained rivers, plants, and palaces.
In fact, Iran's carpet and garden are two ancient arts that bind together. Some shapes like flowers and birds in Iranian rugs are the sign of utilization of gardening in their designs. There are so many novel designs in Qajar rug weaving which made of some mixed geometric shapes.
