Mosaic tile or the art of mosaic was popular on Seljuk era during the fourth century, this decorative art included mosaic pieces by different colors and different shapes, which located beside each other and make a new shape and novel form.
Today, this art or image made from assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, mosaic, or other materials, it is often used in decorative art and interior decoration, and most mosaics are made of small, flat, roughly square, pieces of stone or glass of different colors.
